- Subtotal, tax (at your local rate), and the balance due.
- How to pay you: methods you accept and any late-payment terms.
- List the actual service dates covered this billing period so the client can see exactly which visits they're paying for — recurring lawn customers question 'why am I billed when it rained and you skipped a week.'
- Bill recurring mowing and one-off work on separate lines: a monthly mow charge plus a same-month aeration or shrub trim should read as two distinct items, not one lump sum.
